This experience is directly applicable to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA) Security Rule as it relates to "electronic protected health information" (e-PHI) integrity, control, and disposition. This includes:

  • 1) Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, control, and disposition of all e-PHI that Quasars creates, receives, maintains or transmits
  • 2) Identifying and protecting against reasonably anticipated threats to the security or integrity of information
  • 3) Protecting against reasonably anticipated, impermissible uses or disclosures
