Since 2004, Quasars has implemented imaging systems and services that support collection, storage and retrieval of digital images. Quasars experts specialize in all aspects of document imaging, management and workflow. Quasars helps bridge the gap between paper and electronic information by offering storage, conversion and backup of digital images. Our services include transfer of physical media to an electronic form for streamlined electronic distribution and workflow. Quasars has proven experience managing sensitive information for health, research and development communities providing high quality imaging and document management solutions that are Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Clinical Data Architecture (CDA) compliant. Quasars brings the ability to create CDA-compliant images and interoperability across any HIT platform subscribing to standards for Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT).

Quasars integrates and maintains leading document management systems, including: SharePoint, Documentum, Alfresco, FileNet P-8/IBM ECM, Adobe LiveCycle, Docuware and KnowledgeTree. Quasars' staff includes Microsoft SharePoint certified professionals and professionals certified in IBM FileNet P-8. Quasars has used leading Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solutions including; Adobe, ABBY FineReader, OmniPage and TextPage.

Systems Integration

Quasars has integrated a full range of technology systems, standards, and processes for our clients including the National Institutes of Health, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Education, and the Federal Aviation Administration in both small and very large scale programs. We have built and integrated system solutions across hardware and software platforms, deployed enterprise integration systems that include asset management systems, collaboration tools, data management systems, and network security, health research repositories, and security imaging systems. Custom Software Development

Quasars solves difficult issues with custom software development solutions when commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software is unavailable or insufficient to solve a challenging problem. Quasars is vendor and platform independent. We work in any software environment under any framework best suited to solve the problem at hand.
